Dakota Health speaks with Dr. Eric Johnson, professor in the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Department of Family & Community Medicine, about medical education, telehealth, and the changing face of diabetes – plus jazz. Specializing in diabetes management and care, Dr. Johnson serves on the American Diabetes Association Professional Practice Committee, which updates the ADA’s guidelines annually. He is also serves as Chair of the ADA Primary Care Advisory Group, Co-Chairs the American Medical Association Chronic Disease Prevention and Management and Telehealth interest groups, and serves as President of the Board of the American Diabetes Association-North Dakota Affiliate.
